Pressure Washers VS Surface Washers: What's the Difference?
shape and handling
Most surface cleaners look like a large disc with a long fork-shaped handle (which can be held at your sides with two hands), about 50 cm in diameter. Instead of spraying from a single focused nozzle like a high-pressure cleaner, surface cleaners use a rotating wand with two nozzles, not unlike how a dishwasher operates.
In terms of handling, surface cleaners operate a bit like a commercial floor polisher. Slowly slide the device back and forth to subject everything inside the disc to strong water pressure, providing an evenly clean surface as the machine passes.
application
Pressure cleaners can be used for almost any residential job as well as most commercial applications. Industrial-grade units with adjustable nozzles and pressure settings allow users to clean everything from concrete driveways to windows (with care, of course).
As the name suggests, surface cleaners should only be used to clean floors and floors. However, surface washers can achieve more thorough cleaning in less time than pressure washers due to their larger diameter and surface area.
